Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 17-year-old middle blocker who works to play with energy, focus, and a strong sense of teamwork. I stay quick on my feet, read hitters, and try to be a strong presence at the net with my blocking and quick attacks. I’m always looking to improve my timing, footwork, and overall skills. I stay positive, listen to feedback, and do my best to help my team succeed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m focused, coachable, and always give my best effort. I like challenges and stay calm under pressure. I enjoy working with my teammates and staying motivated to improve.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been in honor roll all three years of my highschool so far.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Last summer, I shadowed Dr. Coslas, a neurosurgeon, and observed spine surgery. It taught me how body mechanics, balance, and movement impact performance and injury prevention. I apply this to my jumping, landing, and control on the court. I also volunteered with VolleyRoots at Oasis, coaching kids under 10 in volleyball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is the financial side of playing club volleyball. My family has made sacrifices to support my training, travel, and tournament opportunities. This has taught me to appreciate every chance I get to play and motivates me to work hard and make the most of every opportunity.
