Stewart has improved each time I’ve scouted her in person the last few years. The Rock Island (IL) High freshman sharpened her game across the board and become more consistent. She’s a good athlete that flows well around the court, usually getting to the right spots and keeping her team in the play. Stewart does well in working off of her team’s block and narrowing the path to success for opponents on the attack. Quick reflexes and good reads lead to her covering off of the block. She’s a crisp passer that picks up information she can use throughout a match. Stewart enjoyed a solid ninth-grade season for Rocky, averaging 3.8 digs in 57 sets. Her 41 assists spoke to her skill in setting the two ball. Stewart is one to watch moving forward as an ascending prospect.
