Zimmer had a really nice day on the court. She did a great job reading the defense and made good setting choices. She mixed things up well, threw out some huge reversals, and put her hitters in good spots to score. One thing I really like about her game is that she doesn’t stop competing once she sets the ball. She works just as hard on defense. She was solid in right back and came up with some big digs throughout the day. Zimmer is a hard working player who impacts the game beyond just running the offense.

Zimmer makes some really smart decisions when her team is out of system. I really like how she isn’t afraid to utilize her back row and finds a way to get her middles involved. She’s quick to the ball and has a quick release on the ball.
