Middlestadt is a libero who gets a ton of reps year round and brings a steady, confident presence to the backcourt. She’s consistent in serve receive, passes the ball well to target, and does a nice job communicating. She’s also very comfortable in intense situations, having reached the state tournament the past two seasons and competing on a strong club schedule with M1. Liberos typically get recruited later in the process, but based on her consistency and experience, it feels like she’s the type of player who will be picked up sooner rather than later.

Mittelstadt makes some really nice adjustments to create the best angle with her platform. She is a standout defender from Saturday and she made everything look smooth and easy. Mittelstadt was gliding across the floor from base to proper positioning for each pass and dig.

Mittelstadt does a nice job getting her hips under the ball and making solid digs off the net. She does a nice job extending her defensive range. Her ball control and defense are solid and she keeps her court in system.
