About Bella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I try and play the best I can even when I have an off day. I tend to shake mistakes and miscommunication off fairly well, and I feel like I am a well rounded player. On the court, I played multiple positions over my years as a volleyball player, including middle blocker and setter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very stubborn, and I have a lot of grit and determination when it comes to things I am passionate about, and I try to learn as much as I can about whatever that may be. I'm a team player, and very loyal to my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in club ball with Arkansas Metro, and I work about 20 hours a week at Chick-Fil-A. In September 2025, I was awarded the Character award for athletes at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be a more confident and outgoing person. My team has helped shape me into who I am today, and they have made me much more confident in myself and the skills I posses. One of my favorite community services I have done is called Fortress Ministries. My youth group goes to Houston for a week to provide reading support and camp experiences for inner-city kids.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have had multiple injuries that forced me to push myself both on and off the court. I had to learn how to care for myself while also continuing to push myself to the next level. I'm the oldest of four kids so it has been challenging to help my family while taking care of work, school and volleyball.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a school that allows me to be myself and chart my own path, but also a place where I can be supported and connected. I am open to any college that is looking for my position and or other positions that I have played in the past. I am also open to NAIA and D3 schools.

Bella Dubose Bella Dubose Bella Dubose 5'10" | MB/RS Searcy | 2027 AR was another 2027 that stood out. The 5’10” Searcy Lion is poised for a breakout senior season after a solid club season with Arkansas Metro.

Throughout the camp, Dubose showed offensive tools that make her a difficult matchup at the net. What stood out was the heaviness of her swing. She attacked aggressively and repeatedly powered balls through the block, showing the kind of offense coaches expect to see from their middles and right sides.

Defensively, she is an imposing sight for attackers. She moves well to assist the pins and holds up well with one-on-one matchups. She has good mobility and functionally reads the attack well. She is an intense player who can fire up those around her.
