Giefer was one of the first new setters I noticed at the tournament. She peaked my interest immediately due to her quickness, reaction time, and how good her setting hands are. She was able to track down the majority of the balls and her sets came out super clean with no spin. She also used her speed and agility in the backrow playing strong defense and picking up numerous tips.
