Braylin won a top performer award at the frosh showcase last summer prior to the high school season. She again stood out at the Virginia exposure tour. Two different coaches pointed her out as a player I needed to watch. It didn’t take a lot of convincing since I have seen her set in high school and club on a number of occasions to know that she is a quality setter.

As a frosh she set for Woodbridge, earning first team honors in the Cardinal District. She led them to the Regionals setting a 5/1. That is a lot to ask of a frosh setter. Eventually they lost in the first round to Mountain View.

This club season she will set for a very talented Paramount 15 team. With Kayla Chang Kayla Chang 5'7" | S/RS Briar Woods | 2029 State VA , another top performer at this event also setting she will probably set a 6/2. It would not surprise me that opportunities open up where both get a chance to set a 5/1.
