Her sequencing from transition to takeoff is polished and repeatable, leading into a powerful, committed swing. She strikes with authority while maintaining the ability to cut both left and right, forcing blockers to commit early. Miss Dawson is a five foot ten middle blocker in the 2029 class from Gulf Breeze High School who competes for West Florida Waves Volleyball Club. Few players in attendance possessed the same level of natural, raw power throughout their entire frame. Her compact arm swing combined with an explosive vertical jump allowed her to generate heavy contact and consistent offensive production. Multiple scouts and court coaches independently nominated her for this recognition, and it was easy to see why once you watched her compete. She patrolled the net defensively with confidence and embraced physical battles without hesitation. Watching her perform, you would not assume she is only a freshman because of the maturity and intensity she brings to the court. Her passion for the sport radiates through her play, and that kind of competitive fire adds tremendous value to any roster. Her leadership by example stood out just as much as her physical tools.
