Briley looked really good throughout the event on Sunday. Multiple times she caught my attention by getting some high level digs, or by passing dimes in serve receive. I always head toward good libero play and Briley was playing at high level during the 6 on 6 portion.
She is a high-level passer with exceptional platform control and angle management by always having the ball end up at the target. Briley maintains strong form and balance through contact and consistently delivers clean, on-target passes to her setters to get the offense in system. She really showed a high ability to read the serve and anticipate where it was going before it ended up there. During 6 on 6 this was very evident as her team seemed to always be running a system when I came by to watch. A lot of good touches and balls where coming form the her on the court.
She has college level ability as a freshman from what we saw at the event. Given the fact she is only a freshman this really gives her time to continue her development as a high level player. We easily see her as one of our all stars and can’t wait to watch her develop throughout the years.
