Camryn was a backrow mainstay for the Hawks this past season. She was top 10 in 6A for digs with over 399 and also did well with her serving and had 38 aces as well. She was named 1st team all region, demonstrating her as a top level talent not only for her class but for the state. 

Camryn is a high-level overall athlete with quick-twitch reactions, strong footwork, and excellent change-of-direction ability. She moves efficiently in and out of defensive posture and maintains speed late into rallies, seems like the longer a rally goes the better she moves. She just never gets tired and always maintains good form and technique during rallies. Most importantly when she hits the floor she recovers quickly from dives or extensions and immediately re-engages in the play, she is never out of the play. In serve receive she is a confident and reliable passer with the athletic ability to handle movement-based serve receive (top or float). She does all this by maintaining a stable platform while passing on the run and she can adjust well to late movement on float and jump serves. 

After watching her play I would say she projects as a high-impact collegiate libero or defensive specialist with the athletic tools to contribute early. She has the skill set and competitiveness to compete at that level and colleges should take notice. Most importantly she has the ability to handle increased pace and physicality at the next level.

Camryn is in the midst of an explosive senior season as the starting libero for Highland High School, and she’s proving to be one of the most impactful back-row players in the 6A conference. A force in serve receive, Camryn has already tallied 179 receptions, anchoring the Hawks’ first contact with poise and consistency. Defensively, she’s just as sharp—racking up 177 digs so far this season.

Her court presence is aggressive and intentional. Camryn plays with her eyes up, constantly adjusting to cover her hitters and staying one step ahead in out-of-system situations—where she’s added 50 assists to her stat line. Whether she’s digging up a hard-driven ball or keeping a rally alive with a smart, controlled touch, Camryn’s influence is felt on every play. But what sets her apart even more is her energy. She’s the emotional heartbeat of the Highland squad—a constant source of positivity, fire, and belief. Known as the team’s “hype-girl,” Camryn leads not only with her skill but with her voice, lifting her teammates in both momentum swings and pressure moments.

As the Hawks continue to battle through a competitive 6A season, Camryn’s leadership, grit, and spark will be key to their success.
