About Brinley

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am adaptable. Calculated. Anticipating. I can serve effectively with either hand, but I am left-hand dominant. This club season (2025-26) with FCA Clark 16-1 I am playing all around. My skill set suits the DS/Libero position. I have a 25-inch vertical jump and can play right side as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Encourager, Team first, Next play mentality. I like to have fun. I can lighten the mood while remaining effective.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

My hobbies include photography, singing, and drawing. I'm currently on the Ridgefield High School (WA) Track and Field team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This season produced another position change. I was moved from the DS/Lib role to a 6 rotation player. My primary roles are defense and setting. I'm undersized (5'6") for the RS position, but can play above the net due to my jumping ability. I utilize my athleticism to give our offense options.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am a home-schooled volleyball player who loves to compete. The type of college I am looking for will have a family-like atmosphere that strives to compete regardless of who is involved. We win together, learn together, and strive to uplift each other through competitive training and practices. I can be your biggest cheerleader on the sidelines or keep the play focused on the court.
