What an exciting player in Britta Olson Britta Olson 5'8" | OH Saint Croix Falls | 2027 State WI .  St. Croix Falls made the bump up from D3 after their state title in 2023 to D2 in 2024 where they finished 22-10.  Britta Olson Britta Olson 5'8" | OH Saint Croix Falls | 2027 State WI was a key piece to their success and just a sophomore where she collected over 300 kills and 300 digs.  I was able to see her play for ClubRed this past club season where she brought an aggressive style of play where she’s not afraid to take a big rip.  She is the type to create chaos on the other side of the net while having such a positive energy for her team. 

Britta Olson Britta Olson 5'8" | OH Saint Croix Falls | 2027 State WI is lightning in a bottle as an outside hitter for ClubRed 16 National.  She is so fast to the ball with an explosive approach where she can hit a heavy ball.  Aside from her volleyball attributes, Olson lights up the court with her smile celebrating and hyping her teammates.  She plays with a joy and her energy is contagious.  She is a sophomore at St. Croix Central where she averaged four kills per set and was named to the D2 All State team.  There is a lot of promise in her game and will be another one from ClubRed who needs to be on the radar of college coaches. 

Olson has a big time vertical. Combine that with her timing, speed, and power and you have an electric outside hitter. While her hitting has always been fun to watch, what really made me stop and take a second look was how much her serve receive and defensive game has grown. She showed consistency in both serve receive and digging at the tournament. As the recruitment season starts to gear up for her, I can’t wait to see who all comes looking for this gem.

Britta Olson is the type of player that everyone dreams to play with. I was blown away with her versatility on the court, being able to step in and take a hard swing at every ball and lay out for every ball on defense. She may not be as tall as some other outsides, however her vertical is much higher than others, which allows her to get around a big block and put the ball down. Excited to see her crush it this club season!

Olson stormed her way onto our radar last year with her team’s deep post-season performances. She can hang in the air and almost levitate as she waits for the ball to enter her airspace. When the time is right she takes a lightning-fast swing to terminate. Olson is athletic and physical in her play and she has a really high contact point with a great snap on the ball.

Britta is a high-flying pin that can execute in numerous ways. She is very athletic and has good court awareness. She exploded onto my radar at State last year, where she helped her team to a State Championship title. Her efficiency and placement of the ball set her apart on the court.
