Thiele is an outside with a big swing and quick arm. She came through for her team in some tough matches. Thiele is one of those players that is hard to defend as she can vary her shots and put down kills all over the court. She is impressive as she read the block in front of her well, adjusted, and delivered some monster kills down the line and sharp cross that teams just couldn’t defend.

Thiele’s ascent may just be getting started. She was among Nebraska’s highest-scoring sophomores this fall with 4.1 kills per set for Bishop Neumann. Her quick right arm yielded terminations in various ways, whether straight-down swings or tool shots off the block. Thiele’s ball-control skills have also progressed, giving the Cavaliers a steady passing asset in any rotation. The 1,000-career-kill milestone is quickly approaching.
