Let’s discuss Nebraska’s lone representative in the 16 USA race. VCNebraska 16 Elite has a real chance to make noise at NLQ, particularly after the team earned its way to the challenge round at last month’s Triple Crown NIT. Cada played a massive role in that triumph and has been a picture-perfect replica of other dominant VCN outside hitters. She sees opposing hands well and can efficiently cash in on out-of-system sets. Bishop Neumann High School will be on the map for one of club volleyball’s most prominent events.

What a journey for Cada and VCNebraska 15 Elite. This Bishop Neumann freshman helped her 15 Elite squad clinch a 15 USA bid through NLQ’s second weekend. Then, 15 Elite won the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament to move up to GJNC’s 15 National division. That leaves one more rung on the ladder: Open. Cada is due for a big weekend against some of the Midwest’s best squads. Her six-rotation influence has been something to behold as her VCNebraska group keeps reaching higher.

VCNebraska 15 Elite is bringing plenty of six-rotation firepower from the outside hitter spot. Cada earned a spot on our 2028 watch list after her big freshman debut with Bishop Neumann, and her momentum has persisted on the club side. She’s an all-around scorer for 15 Elite and an incredible defensive asset in the back row. Cada’s diverse skillset mirrors so many other successful VCN pin attackers, and her best is yet to come.

You knew we had to get the Class of 2028 involved. Cada was extraordinarily effective at VCNebraska 15 Elite’s outside hitter spot, even as she was tasked with cleaning up several scramble plays. This small-town star was among Nebraska’s most prolific freshman scorers in her debut season with Bishop Neumann. Cada’s upward momentum has carried into the club season, where her team posted a runner-up finish in the Power League’s 16 Open division.

Bishop Neumann wielded quite a combination of underclassman left-side hitters last year. Cada was the Class of 2028 representative at that position, and she posted a strong debut season with 2.9 kills per set. Cada’s range became her best asset, as she could find space down the line or in the crosscourt. As Cada’s numbers continue to rise in 2025, Bishop Neumann will climb the small-town hierarchy, too.

We kept a close eye on VCNebraska 14 Elite’s journey through the 14 National field. Cada churned out several highlight moments during that stint and was 14 Elite’s go-to out-of-system attacker. This dynamic left-side hitter found ways to terminate even if she was far off the net. Better yet, Cada could go pass-to-attack as a frontcourt hitter and was a prominent part of 14 Elite’s passing pattern. Bishop Neumann has another rising star to add to its long list of talented pin hitters.
