A name that stands out right away from I AM VBC 16 Red is Brooke Zoromski Brooke Zoromski 5'4" | DS/L/S Slinger | 2028 State WI .  The sophomore out of Slinger has a quiet platform, she glides on the court where she is extremely efficient.  She knows how to command the court with her presence and is the type of player the opposing coach will say “Don’t hit at the libero”.  This 16 Red team is coming off an undefeated weekend playing at the Sky High Presidents Day Classic.  They will definitely be in the hunt for a bid to Indy.

Brooke Zoromski Brooke Zoromski 5'4" | DS/L/S Slinger | 2028 State WI is a gamechanger.  I remember watching her for I AM VBC 15 Red in the 2025 club season where she has the fundamentals, the athleticism, and the intangibles that elite level liberos need.  This has been a common pattern for ‘bros at I AM where you can tell they are well trained with their footwork and platform.  This past high school season for Slinger she had over 300 digs.  Remember the name, she is one to watch!

Brooke is a libero who doesn’t let anything hit the ground. She is fearless and aggressive when pursuing the ball. She works incredibly hard not only to get touches on the ball, but also to make them playable for her teammates. She is a leader in the back row and for her team as a whole. She steps up in big moments and is an all-around solid libero. Her serve receive is already very consistent and it will only continue to be a key piece of her game as she plays at higher levels.

Zoromski is all over the court. She reads the opposing teams setter well and moves in tandem. She rarely was burned on tips as she seemed to always be in the right spot at the right time. One of the things that I liked the most about her is that she also reads the court on offense and will even toss in a libero dump if the time is right.
