This is an easy one. We’ve talked about the big void that Gretna East had to fill at libero this fall, and Beethe has stepped in as well as you could hope from an underclassman. She played a solid DS role in her debut season last fall, but Beethe has seized the libero jersey in Year 2 with extraordinary success. Her 4.5 digs per set rank among Nebraska’s best sophomore numbers. Beethe’s high-impact season with Premier Nebraska 15 Gold, which ended with a GJNC title, has furthered her rise among her 2028 peers. Beethe’s rankings rise is inevitable.

The graduation of standout libero Margaret Williams left a big defensive void for Gretna East this year. Fortunately, Beethe has the skill and high-level experience to take over as the team’s backcourt anchor. She is already credited with triple-digit digs this year and has produced a wealth of quality passes that don’t show up on a basic box score. Beethe joined Dostal for Premier Nebraska 15 Gold’s GJNC triumph in Dallas, so she will not shy away from Gretna East’s rigorous Class B gauntlet.

Beethe has already seen some of the nation’s best attackers in the 15s age group. Her steady platform and fearless attitude were particularly valuable during Premier 15 Gold’s trip to Kansas City for the Show Me Qualifier. Beethe received a large volume of serves and delivered accurate passes on the setter’s head. She’s a natural fit for the right-back area and can cover anything coming down the line or in the crosscourt. Gretna East has a future building block to reinforce its stout defense.

Beethe has played a big role in fortifying Premier Nebraska 15 Gold’s defense and serve receive. The Gretna East freshman is particularly effective in the middle-back area but can lock down any area along the end line. 15 Gold faced some aggressive serves in Show Me’s 15 Open division, allowing Beethe to showcase her poise under pressure and reliable passing platform. Future Open berths are sure to follow for Beethe and her ever-evolving Premier Nebraska team.
