About Brooklyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a positive, hardworking libero who leads through communication and hustle. I take pride in being the captain of the defense, always talking, encouraging, and keeping my team focused. I help our hitters by calling out open spots and stay calm under pressure to keep us connected and strong.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

A positive and focused teammate who believes in lifting others up and working toward team goals. I’m determined to grow every day and help my team succeed, no matter the challenge. I invest time in mindset coaching because I know how important it is to stay confident, focused, and supportive—on and off the court. Being a strong teammate and pushing myself to be my best is what drives me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the court, I help at school events and was honored to receive the “Being Christ” Award for my grade, which recognizes kindness, leadership, and living out my faith. I look forward to more opportunities to get involved and give back as I enter high school in the coming years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned to be a leader by lifting others up and being an advocate for my peers. I love giving back, teaching younger players what I've learned, and staying involved in school and community events whenever I can.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced some challenges I prefer to keep private, but they’ve helped me become more resilient and confident in myself. These experiences taught me to stay strong and believe in my abilities no matter what.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will challenge me to grow both as a player and a student. I want to compete at the highest level in volleyball while being part of a strong team and supportive community. Good academics are important too because I want to keep learning and prepare for my future.
