About Brooklyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter I show up to each practice or game with the intent to not only run my offense in the smartest way possible, but also attack at the other team finding and looking for ways to score every point i can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am playing volleyball not only to have a blast, but also to get better and improve so I can play at higher levels. I believe that every competitive player, like me, will not just play for themselves but build trust and a bond within you and your teammates.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a leadership student for two years in middle school, I have learned how to find the best in everybody and help everyone, not just in volleyball, work as a team and together with communication and trust.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 5th grade, when I started playing volleyball, I was at a summer camp and dislocated my knee to the back side. This set my that entire fall and summer back so I could not get a running start. Then for my 13’s year on the 1’s team my coach didnt put me as setter, pushing me another year back; But i kept trucking and i am where i am now and very proud of myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

Im looking for a college that i could study business and finance in to hopefully become a realtor one day. I also hope for a college with great coaching for volleyball and that will take me even farther in my career.
