For Brylee, this weekend is about the experience itself. “Just to experience this opportunity with my team,” she said, is what she’s looking forward to most.

Her volleyball IQ is what stands out most in her game right now, and she’s using this season to sharpen her passing. When things get difficult, her body language is what she leans on, working to stay positive no matter the moment.

What she wants noticed most isn’t one specific skill. It’s simply how she plays the game.

Brylee has decided this will be her final season of competitive volleyball, closing out her career on her own terms rather than continuing at the next level.

Outside of volleyball, she loves reading and working out.

As a junior this year, Brylee Howard Brylee Howard 5'11" | RS/S Woods Cross | 2027 State UT hit a .258%, posted 196 kills, 278 digs, and 35 blocks. She has solid power and range to score through, off, and around a block. She has good IQ and execution to find a way to score from both the left and right. Brylee does a great job getting her feet to the ball and executing when her number is called.

On a team that’s filled with stellar talent, it’s hard to find a way to stand out, however, Brylee Howard Brylee Howard 5'11" | RS/S Woods Cross | 2027 State UT was an impressive force for the Wildcats this season. She hit .258 on the season and was a reliable option for her team. She has great range and ability to score with a double or a single block in front of her. She elevates well and has a fast arm that can find floor or tool high off the block. As a blocker, Howard demonstrates good decision making at the net in terms of where to set up and has good ball control to play defense and manage tough sets.
