Mussell (*pictured) was the primary libero for this team, filling a role that resulted in some big moments throughout the event. Her ability to read and get into space around her team’s block defensively led to her success by using her quick reaction and ability to extend to keep hard driven balls off the floor in creating more offensive opportunities for her team. She is also skilled in the first-touch passing phase as her serve receive leadership helped create in-system offense to use their capable arms across the net.

Mussell patrols the back row with authority for the 152 team. She makes sliding saves under control and does not hide behind blocks. Mussell is very enthusiastic on the court. She said it’s a matter of staying calm and trusting her abilities.
