About Caitlin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am quick on my feet and jump high. I am a strong hitter and work each day to continue to get stronger. I am always learning and always improving.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I work hard. I am always seeking ways to improve, improve as it relates to both myself and my team. I am goal oriented and thrive in stressful situations. I believe strong communication with teammates and coaches is essential. I believe we should play with intention and encouragement.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am involved in Red Cross Club, Medical Science Club, school summer camp counselor, Community Service, Chapel Leader. I made Headmaster List and received the Exemplary Community Service Award for the 2024-2025 school year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been selected on the Community Service Council, co-captain of my OTVA volleyball team. In 8th grade, I was co-captain of our school volleyball and basketball team. I was co-MVP of our JV lacrosse team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have always enjoyed sports and have played basketball and lacrosse since pre-school. It was not until sixth grade that I started playing volleyball for my middle school and I started playing club volleyball in eighth grade. What I lack in years of volleyball experience, I make up with grit, hunger and athleticism. I am determined to be better.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a highly academic college with a strong science department, as well as a college that offers women's volleyball.
