Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I truly believe that using what works is so important, and my gameplay really depends on the opponent. This meaning if I need to swing away I will go all out but I also use all my tools to score in different ways. My goal is to do what’s least expected.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I make it a point to appreciate the good and make it fun because that’s why players love the sport. On the other hand, staying serious and focused is so important to make that happen. Putting in the work makes it all worth it.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in National Honors Society and have received Highest Honors throughout my high school career.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am the team captain as a junior on varsity and have learned that age, talent, etc. doesn’t matter, as long as you have the passion and grit to be able to share it with your team and have them trust you. I also work really well with people in general, especially skills I have learned through customer service working at a coffee shop.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I think the biggest challenges are mental and being able to overcome those thoughts show strength. Whether it’s a bad play or bad day I never let it affect me for too long and I think that’s really important for yourself and your teammates to be able to count on you.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that shows support on and off the court. I love being able to play the sport I love although I highly value my education and career. A good balance between those is very important to me in a college.
