How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as dynamic, passionate, observant, adaptable, contagious, and never quit!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my mentality as the calm within the storm. My positive energy can be felt on and off the court! I have an excellent understanding of the game and look for ways to improve my own game by reviewing game film! I love to have fun on the court with my teammates and am very coachable!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I help with Vacation Bible School at my church during the summer. I work at the Senior Care Center as an aide and enjoy learning from them as I learn skills to become a nurse.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have spent countless hours practicing hard to become a gifted athlete in gymnastics, volleyball & track. I watch & study elite players and try to integrate new things into my game! I am level headed and can make good decisions under pressure. I balance family, school, two jobs and sports. I positively influence others on and off the court with my fun-loving personality and sense of humor.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced a few challenges-my mom deployed for a year when I was 2 & my dad suffered a traumatic brain injury that changed his personality. My parents divorced as I entered middle school & I had to balance family, friends, school & sports while going between 2 households. I sprained my ankle at the 1st home match this season & had to process the injury & stay focused on cheering on my team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers high academic opportunities for me to pursue my degree, as well as a memorable college experience. I want to join a volleyball program that not only develops me as a player but also provides experiences that develop me as a person!
