This Madtown 161 Select team is going to be one to watch this weekend at the Champions Cup.  They have been off to a blistering start in the 2025 season.  Checky has put together quite the sophomore year where she was Player of the Year in her conference for Marshall High School.  She is a dynamic attacker who isn’t afraid to take a big rip, but then she will mix in an off speed shot.  Her presence is something the other side of the net will need to be aware of. 

Carly impressed me with Madtown 16-1 Select. She is the type of player who really heats up as a match goes on. By the mid-way point of the first set, she had really taken over the game I was watching. She was creative and smart with her choices. Carly has a great contact with the ball and isn’t afraid to swing for blockers’ hands.

Carly is a game-changer on the court. She mixes up her shots incredibly well and is impressive to watch pick apart opposing defenses. She has a huge vertical and great court vision. Carly makes smart choices and can consistently execute. She isn’t afraid to use off-speed shots to earn points.
