Chitty has started the club season with big impact, right where she left off last club cycle with her Mintonette squad. There is a competitive maturity about her effort that is noticeable regarding her clear command of the court from the back row. Her consistent connection to the full flow of points helps her range of tools increase the quality of her action, including defense, passing, setting the second touch, and flat out effort to make big plays for her team.

Chitty returns to Mintonette for the club season as she’ll contribute to their top 16U team, considered one of the top teams in their age group. She experienced team and individual success last club season as a libero and is poised to make an even bigger impact over the next several months. She plays the libero role with good composure and connection to point flow that helps her create consistent offensive opportunities for her team. Chitty averaged 6.3 d/m for Oletangy Berlin this past high school season.

As Chitty was on our radar early for this 2028 Ohio class, she has continued to hone her tools as a libero as she has a high ceiling regarding where her prep career could lead her going forward. She makes a lot of big plays look routine for her in how she reacts to the ball coming across the net. Her range is broad given her quickness and how she uses the length of her platform to lead the pursuit of the ball. The effort she produced at USAV nationals at the end of the club season makes for great anticipation of what she will do going forward.

Chitty comes in as our top ranked DS/L prospect in the initial 2028 rankings. She brings a solid skill set combined with big impact for her Mintonette club team over the previous season. Her ability to face the ball and create good angles in serve receive gets her team in system often. Defensively, she reads and reacts well with good pursuit. The Oletangy Berlin product competed in a reserve role this recent high school season earning nearly 100 total digs. As this Ohio 2028 class has a handful of high quality DS/L athletes, it will be fun to see how the rankings shape up over the next few years.
