Cassidy is a big force at the net for Marist. In the championship game against Benet she had a bunch of kills and a couple of nice blocks. She can kill you on the slide, crushing it on you, or hit it precisely down the line. She is agile and has good feet and gets to the ball quickly. She hits a “heavy ball” which is tough to handle. 2 time state champion, and there is a reason why!

is no different. She has been part of a talented high school and club program her entire career. She won a state title for Marist High School out of Chicago and was part of Sports Performance the past two club season where her teams racked up multiple high level national finishes. Cage brings a physical and athletic style to the middle blocker position where she can run the quick tempos, attack off one foot, and finds a way to terminate in multiple ways while also being a lock down defender. She has the potential to be an impact player in the SEC for Mississippi State.

Cassidy is explosive! She gets over to her slides quickly and shuffles over and jumps quickly as well for blocks and touches at the net. Being able to jump quickly is a skill, and she has it. Great lift and reach as well. Has a fantastic wind up and quick swing at the net. Uses all the tools and hits, can push the ball or hit over or around the block.

She is another top tier athlete who preps at Marist and was a dominant player for Sports Performance 16 Elite who has turned out plenty of top commits from this class. Cage has given her verbal to play at Mississippi State. She is extremely physical out of the middle where she puts up a strong block. Offensively she hits a heavy ball and knows how to score points in a variety of ways. She could be a big time impact player down the road in the SEC.
