About Cassidy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile six-rotation player who brings consistency and energy to the court. As an attacker, I use a fast arm swing and strong court vision to score with both power and placement. Defensively, I pride myself on being steady in serve-receive, reading hitters, and pursuing every ball with hustle. I’m known for my leadership, positive presence, and coachability.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a competitive but positive mindset to every practice and match. I love to work hard, push myself to improve, and support my teammates so we can succeed together. Coaches describe me as energetic, coachable, fun, and resilient. I see challenges as opportunities to grow and always aim to make the people around me better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have played six years of club volleyball with North Pacific Juniors and Central Oregon Volleyball Club, which has given me valuable experience competing at a high level. At Caldera High School, I also participate in track and field, which helps me stay competitive and build strength and speed for volleyball. Since the age of 14, I have worked a seasonal job for an outdoor watersports company.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being employed has taught me responsibility, time management, and teamwork beyond athletics. Serving as a team captain has strengthened my leadership skills, taught me how to communicate effectively, and given me the ability to motivate others both in competitive moments and everyday practice. I am dedicated to growing as a student-athlete and bringing my energy and commitment to the next level.
