Her ball control is off the charts. Nygaard consistently talks to her teammates to make sure they’re in good position on the court. Nygaard had 383 digs in the fall to help Girls Preparatory School go 18-8.

Nygaard gives great effort each time she takes the court and Friday proved to be no different. She uses a supberb platform to make smooth passes and has great range. She made plays many defensive specialists can’t. Nygaard is also a strong communicator on the court. Nygaard said she focuses on staying on her toes and not her heels so she can get to balls as quick as possible.
