About Catherine

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very optimistic and energetic, a team oriented player with natural court awareness, positive and uplifting, but also aggressive, focused and scrappy in my game play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a positive, uplifting, energetic and focused player and person! Love spending time with my friends and family and get along well with people! I give my commitments 100%.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Beta Club American Heart Association Sweetheart program 3 years of national and elite level club volleyball

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed focus, positivity and discipline as a high school student and Varsity volleyball player at MSM. Our program is competitive and requires a high level of commitment. I also learned these skills through national club teams. I’m starting my high school experience in clubs and volunteer organizations like the American Heart Association and look forward to those opportunities.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I did begin setting last year, which was brand new to me! Although anything new can be a challenge, I’ve ended up in a great spot and am doing well in this position!

What type of college are you looking for?

I imagine a comfortable and well rounded campus that isn’t too far from home, and hopefully a few friends there, too!
