About Charity

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as high energy. I strive to be the most energetic person on my team both when my team is winning and losing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I love to talk to and meet new people. I think this translates onto the court with me talking to others and cheering everybody on even if I don’t know them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the wildcats vs. cancer club at my school. Through this club I volunteer with pediatric cancer patients and help fundraise for pediatric cancer research!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I think throughout my last 4 years of club I have developed my leadership, teamwork and communication qualities. I believe these qualities are important on the court because they not only help my team succeed but also help me in my personal and school life away from volleyball.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with a tight-nit volleyball program that feels like a family as well as a team. I am interested in marine sciences so I would preferably like to go to a school on the East Coast with a strong marine biology program.
