I really noticed the play of Charlotte Kozak Charlotte Kozak 5'5" | DS/L Glenbrook South | 2026 State IL of Adversity out of the Chicago suburbs when they played in the Prep Dig Gauntlet in June.  At the libero position, she made a lot of difficult plays look easy with her controlled platform.  She knew how to take pace off the ball and keep things in system on her side of the net.  I saw her again at nationals in Vegas and it was much the same.  Seeing athletes in multiple settings produce the same results shows a level of consistency which is exactly what Kozack does for her Adversity team. 

Seeing Charlotte Kozak Charlotte Kozak 5'5" | DS/L Glenbrook South | 2026 State IL at the Prep Dig Gauntlet was extremely impressive.  Adversity 16 Adidas had quite a three set battle with MKE Sting 16 Gold where Kozak was lights out at libero.  She was so consistent in all facets of what a libero needs to be good at.  She can serve receive, pass, and put up a great second ball.  She anticipates well and has great control where she makes the first contact look effortless.  Kozak preps at Glenbrook South where her high school and club teammate Ryann Knuth Ryann Knuth 6'2" | OH Glenbrook South | 2026 State IL is their top outside hitter with nearly four kills per set. 

I was so impressed with Kozak at the Prep Dig Gauntlet in early June was she was so crisp with her passing and presence as the Adversity 16 Adidas libero.  She was game changing.  Kozak keeps things simple, she has a quiet platform, she’s controlled, consistent, nothing flashy, just so consistent.  This team is extremely balanced and generated so much momentum at the Gauntlet.  They have a well run offense with attackers who can terminate everywhere.  Outside hitters Bella Potempa and Ryann Knuth are six rotation players who are able to score points from the outside and the backrow.
