Colbie sees Summer NIT as a reflection of the work her team has put in throughout the club season. Earning an invitation validates the countless hours spent training and competing, and she believes it highlights just how much her team has grown since the beginning of the year. Colbie tells PrepDig Nevada,

Those watching her team for the first time can expect an aggressive style of play fueled by energy, chemistry, and a relentless competitive spirit. Every player understands their role and supports one another, creating an environment where the team can thrive.

“The goals I have for the Summer NIT is to trust my training and to stay competitive. These goals will hopefully show everyone my passion and improvement that has continually grown through this team and season.”

Colbie is a strong middle with a block that makes hitters uncomfortable. She is tough to hit past, stays available by consistently transitioning to attack, and has a nice high reach that allows her to hit over the block. Colbie plays high-level volleyball and is currently playing up on Vegas Aces 15s. She has already mastered the 31 attack and helped her team earn a national bid.
