At 5’10”, she plays bigger than her height with fast lateral movement, efficient footwork, and a quick jump that makes her a threat both offensively and defensively. Coryn does an excellent job closing blocks and sealing seams, not allowing any balls to pass her across the net. Offensively, she brings a powerful arm with improving shot range, especially when attacking off one foot. Her confidence is growing, and as she adds more variation to her attack, she projects as a major contributor for Stellar this season.

Fields is a member of James Madison’s high school volleyball team and plays for Houston Stellar in club tournaments. She was excellent during the entire event, using her physical tools and strong game at the net to make an impact on both sides of the ball. Fields’ offense was one of the best among the middles as she got off the floor very well and managed to put a lot of power into her swings, while also angling them very well to beat blockers and defenders. Her defensive game was also very solid and reliable, as she timed her blocking very well and used her impressive hang time to stop opponents at the net.

Fields was with the Houston Stellar 16 Elite team that ended the event in sixth place with a win and four losses. Her athleticism and mobility at the net made of her a key contributor to the team and helped her get many touches with her blocking. Fields was also very active offensively, getting off the floor well and hitting different sets in the middle with power and precision. She was always very alert to handle 50-50 balls and overpasses too.
