There’s that Manhattan Mayhem crew again. Bruna dazzled us through her work with Manhattan Mayhem 17P this year, culminating in a Prep Dig Iowa Clash championship and a top-five finish in GJNC’s 17 USA division. However, club competition is not the only venue where Bruna has made her mark. This dominant attacker logged over four kills per set on a sky-high 0.396 clip for Hanover last fall, demonstrating her ability to hit from anywhere at the net. That exceptional volume should persist in Year 4.

We’re moving into the middle. A balanced effort is required for the kind of triumph we saw from Manhattan Mayhem, and Bruna provided that impact when the team was in system. She quickly established herself as one of the best slide hitters at the Iowa Clash. Bruna’s lateral quickness allowed her to get ahead of opposing wing blockers and crank through large windows at the tape. She combined this with the physicality needed to square up with any of the event’s hard-hitting attackers. It’s a perfect combination.
