About Eda

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Fast and aggressive on the court, good at reading the ball and intentional with my movements on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am always positive and hard working especially when it comes to my teammates and making our team as a whole better. I always have the next ball mentality, and I have pride and confidence in my skills, my ability to have a good mind set for the duration of every game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been part of leadership at my school since elementary school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been part of leadership at my school since elementary school. I have led multiple events, and I am part of summer LIT volunteering program at Little Bridges Child Care Center.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will appreciate me for my skills and that I can showcase my abilities at with a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Eda Gencer Eda Gencer Eda Gencer 5'6" | OH/RS San Ramon Valley | 2029 CA , an outside hitter from San Ramon Valley High School, brings strong ball control and a team-first mentality to the court. She takes pride in keeping plays alive through consistent touches, especially in serve receive and out-of-system situations. What she enjoys most about volleyball is the ability to shine alongside her teammates while elevating others around her. A standout memory in her journey so far was earning a bid to nationals at the Windy City Qualifier in the USA Division.

Off the court, she is trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and Turkish, and stays busy with piano and singing lessons, volunteer work through leadership programs, and baking.
