Elizabeth Gilmore named Top Performing Middle Blocker at 7/31/26 SoCal StockUp Showcase, Irvine, Ca.

Elizabeth Gilmore impressed with a heavy arm and an aggressive offensive mindset. She attacked confidently throughout the showcase and consistently looked to score rather than simply keep the ball in play. Her ability to generate power made her a difficult hitter to defend.

Gilmore’s stock-riser status had been on our radar since she appeared at last winter’s Kansas/Missouri Showcase. Her club performances with Dynasty 16 Black secured that rankings ascent. We might not be able to label Gilmore as “under the radar” anymore, especially after she soared on the Open circuit with her Dynasty team. We were reminded of the long frame and overwhelming physicality that scored at will on the Prep Dig Circuit. She will now build on a sophomore campaign in which she logged nearly 300 kills on a 0.300 clip.

We can now check in on one of the Exposure Tour’s most dominant 2028s. Gilmore towered over opposing blockers and stifled attackers with her impeccable defensive technique in the middle. That showcase outing proved Gilmore’s readiness to compete at the Open level, and she has backed that up during Dynasty 16 Black’s special 2026 campaign. Gilmore has been a focal point of the team’s in-system offense during Dynasty’s many journeys to Gold brackets. Her range should translate well to the GJNC stage, where 16 Black will surely remain a title frontrunner.

Gilmore moved up from No. 77 overall into the Top 20. She is now ranked No. 17 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She checked all the boxes on how a player can move up the rankings. As one can see from her professional-looking profile photo, she completed all the information that college coaches can access. Extra effort, check. She attended the last Prep Dig Showcase and advanced her stock by balling out in KCK.

Gilmore will be playing for Dynasty ‘s 16-1 squad. They are a talented team who will be one of the favorites to win the event. She recently attended the Prep Dig Exposure Tour, and she increased her stock in the rankings with a solid performance at the event. The Class of 2028 rankings will be updated in January, and Gilmore will represent one of the top climbers up the ranking ladder. She has posted back-to-back seasons with 200-plus kills. She tallied 290 kills during her sophomore campaign. Dynasty 16-1 will begin the tournament with an 8:00 a.m. Pool A match against PVA 16-3.

Dynasty middle blockers are always turning heads. Gilmore represents the next wave of Dynasty greats at the position, and she dominated the twine at our Exposure Tour. It’s no surprise that the electrifying sophomore scored at a nearly 0.300 clip for Maranatha Christian Academy this year–while racking up almost 300 total kills. Volume and efficiency are skyrocketing.

Gilmore hit the ball like it was talking trash to her. She showed up looking to impress, and she did. She can hit and block, and plays better defense than I expected. She moves well laterally and has a big swing.
