Nebraska Elite 15 Prime put several new 2027s on our radar this year. One of those was Hatz, a shutdown middle blocker who can also make her mark as a scoring threat. We saw Hatz’ role expand during the late-season qualifier grind, particularly at Kansas City’s Show Me Qualifier. 15 Prime leaned on Hatz to terminate on first-ball situations and in transition, making her an all-around threat along the net.

Hatz is listed as a right-side hitter in our database, but that might require an edit after her most recent performances at Show Me. She put in some serious work from the middle blocker position and proved to be a natural fit for that spot. Hatz is physical enough to match up with any attacker across from her, giving a boost to Nebraska Elite 15-2’s strong defensive unit. Positions at the 15s level are seldom set in stone.
