About Ella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is strategic and versatile since I play as both a setter and a right side hitter. I’m always focused on setting up effective plays, reading the court, and making quick decisions in order to help my team succeed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is mainly focused and supportive. As a setter I’m a leader and I’m always thinking ahead in terms of plays and helping my team succeed. I stay calm under pressure and I’m very determined

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in club volleyball

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A quality I have developed is leadership. As a setter I have to be a leader on the court and I’ve developed that skill through playing volleyball. I’ve also learned how to stay calm under pressure and how to be more supportive and encouraging towards my team mates and others.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a competitive volleyball program and somewhere that I can develop as a setter and right side. I’d like a supportive environment where they prioritize player development
