Ella’s volleyball IQ and versatility make her a special kind of athlete. She was first trained as a middle blocker and, for the past two seasons, has transitioned to the setter position. Regardless of where she is placed, Ella knows how to best impact the game.

As a setter, she has grown in technique, extended her range, and become more comfortable and accurate with her long-string sets. Not only has her skill grown and developed with time, but her IQ and court vision have grown as well. Ella is not afraid to send it over on two and is quick to expose holes in opponents’ defensive systems.

This year for the Eagles, Ella plays as a DS on varsity. She will hustle down any ball, and with her solid foundation of control, she is learning to dig even tougher balls while playing on varsity this year.
