Lanfersieck is a setter who brings composure, athleticism, and offensive feel to the position. The ability to keep the offense flowing both in system and out of system stands out immediately, and she consistently puts hitters in positions to be successful. As the tempo control, defensive instincts, and overall consistency continue to develop, the upside as a floor leader remains very promising with her size and volleyball IQ.

Lanfersieck caught my eye ability because I don’t think anyone was better at their quickness to the second ball. Her ability to get in position continued to keep all three options available to her in rhythm. She sets a good tempo ball to the pins and did a solid job with quick ones to the middle. At 5’10”, she can be aggressive offensively and shows she can be effective.

The third-ranked setter, right behind Johnson is Rockwood setter Elle Lanfersieck Elle Lanfersieck 6'0" | S/RS Parkway West | 2027 State MO . She runs a two-setter offense with Mo Wiezorek. If you are wondering about her absence, she resides in Illinois. But back to Elle, she is a good decision-maker and does well at holding the defense. She has also proven her worth as a defender in the back row.
