, who came all the way up from Georgia to participate in a Prep Dig Frosh Showcase in Rockville, Maryland a couple years ago. She earned a top performer award at that event. She also earned a vote as one of the three setters on the All Prep Dig Frosh Tournament Team that covers the last three years.
What first impressed me about her was the velocity of her spikes when she was hitting the ball. My first thought was I should know this girl who can hit the ball that hard. When I asked her what club she played for she said she was from Savannah and she was a setter.
She showed some excellent hands setting easily earning a top performer award. Congrats on her commitment to UNC Ashville.

Ellie showd up at our Prep Dig frosh show case all the way from Georgia this past August. She listed herself as a setter but when I watched her it was her hitting that caught my attention. I do no see frosh in the Chesapeake area hit as well as he, especially a player I don’t already know about. Turns out she travelled from Georgia to participate in the event.
She won top performer at our frosh showcase and now starts for her high school team. While there she ranks second on her team in kills, blocks and assists and sits tied for first in aces. It appears she could become a very good all around player.
She lists her club as Savannah Mizuno.
