Millard South’s resurgence was a major storyline from the season-opening Bellevue West Invite. Myers’ stability and leadership at the libero position have certainly played a role in the Patriots’ progress. Myers’ climb continues. She generated plenty of headlines as one of Class A’s dig leaders with Millard South last fall. Her dominance hasn’t wavered since then, and Myers is back to racking up big numbers with River City Jrs 16 Navy. Beyond her impressive totals, Myers also brings the serve receive stability that won’t show up on a stat sheet. 16 Navy has incredible momentum after a 7-1 Presidents’ Day effort, and the libero is at the center of it all.

Perhaps her impressive showing at our Stock Up event should have been an indication that Myers was ready for big-time volleyball. The rapid ascent of River City Jrs 15 Navy wouldn’t have been possible without Myers’s tireless work in the backcourt. This libero was an incredible force when digging in the crosscourt, but her impact was not limited to the first contact.
