Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Millard South’s historic 2025 season was impressive enough, but it’s even more notable to see a sophomore near the top of the team’s scoring charts. Jacobson’s extaordinary range makes her a force on either pin, so her positional designation will be worth following throughout her career. She took the bulk of the Patriots’ swings against Papio South and wasn’t afraid to challenge a physical Titan block at the net. That fearless attitude will serve Jacobson well as she becomes a trendsetter for next year’s new-look Millard South team.

Jacobson surely could have been added to our rankings after this year’s club season. After all, she helped her Club Legacy squad win a Show Me title to clinch a spot in the GJNC field. Jacobson has left no doubt about her worthiness after soaring to the top of Millard South’s scoring charts this fall. The sophomore carried a heavy attacking burden as the Patriots enjoyed their best season in recent memory. Underclassmen don’t often lead program-changing seasons, but Jacobson remains a big exception to the rule.

Millard South’s breakthrough season is no fluke. The Patriots have brought a stacked, talented lineup to the floor this fall, and Jacobson has carried the banner for the Class of 2028. We were already preparing for Jacobson’s rankings ascent after she helped Club Legacy 15 Alpha reach GJNC through a Show Me title. Still, Jacobson has kept digging this fall and is averaging a team-leading 2.7 kills per set for Millard South. She’s an indispensable part of one of Nebraska’s most efficient offenses, and that’s reason enough to bring her into the rankings.

Add one more Club Legacy star to the count–this time, from the 15s side. Club Legacy 15 Alpha stole the late-season spotlight with a division championship at the Show Me Qualifier, leading to a GJNC berth in Dallas. Jacobson paced the way with her powerful arm at the outside hitter spot, making her a must-see 2028 athlete at the Stock Up Showcase.

Club Legacy 15 Alpha enters GJNC with lofty expectations after hoisting the 15 American championship trophy at the Show Me Qualifier. Jacobson played a big role in this triumph and carries a heavy burden as a left-side hitter. The Millard South underclassman has a strong transition game and cannot be slowed by a large volume of first contacts. Jacobson and 15 Alpha begin the GJNC trek in Pool 1, where several eye-catching early matchups await.
