, a Class of 2028 outside hitter and middle blocker from Cozad High School and WW Volleyball Academy, and currently ranked No. 67 in the Prep Dig Nebraska State Rankings, is the kind of player that commands your attention the moment she steps on the court. At the high school level she has already demonstrated the ability to put down 21 kills in a single match, and earned Omaha World-Herald All-State Honorable Mention recognition as a freshman, which is a clear signal that she is operating well ahead of her class. Standing at 6’2″, her frame gives her an immediate presence at the net, but it is her ability to play multiple positions that separates her from other prospects in this cycle. She attacks with aggression and finishes through contact, and her blocking footwork shows the kind of lateral mobility you need to be effective in the middle at the next level. The fact that she can function as both a pin hitter and a middle option gives any college staff tremendous lineup flexibility. There is still a lot of room to grow into that frame and refine both roles, but the foundation is already impressive. Emersyn is one of the more versatile and physically gifted prospects in the 2028 class nationally, and programs should not sleep on her. Please help us congratulate her on earning Top Performer honors at this showcase event.

is comfortable in transition. She makes strong contact on inside sets and adjusts her footwork to generate momentum through her approach. That ability to stay aggressive in non-ideal situations is valuable.
She can terminate in multiple areas of the court, showing range and awareness in her attack. Emersyn brings versatility, and that makes her a consistent offensive option.

The formula for Propp is simple: loft the ball in her window and let her operate. This tall talent amassed nearly five kills per set last fall, somehow upping her sky-high averages from 2024. Propp is long enough to anchor the middle but can realistically kill the ball from anywhere. Cozad High School will find any way to get Propp involved, so don’t pen her in as a one-dimensional middle blocker. Propp will do whatever is necessary.

Propp’s numbers are impossible to ignore. The Cozad sophomore has averaged a stunning 5.9 kills per set and can terminate from anywhere along the net. Propp set a high bar after her freshman debut, but she has somehow managed to best her freshman production and establish a new standard for the Haymakers. As we look for the next wave of small-town stars to bring into the rankings, Propp will surely be an important piece of the puzzle.

Expect a few more small-town stars to loom large on Nebraska’s stats leaderboard. Propp leads all Nebraska sophomores with 5.1 kills per set through eight sets of work with Cozad High School. The Haymakers have found several creative ways to use Propp in the frontcourt, whether it’s in the middle or on the outside. Propp’s ability to terminate on any tempo lets Cozad operate a step ahead of opposing defenses.
