Wisconsin Lutheran is sitting at 13-2 on the year and has big goals for the end of the season.  This weekend at the Charger Challenge will be a great way to make a statement.  The Vikings have three D1 commits in Gigi Chasco Gigi Chasco 6'0" | S/RS Wisconsin Lutheran | 2027 State WI (Florida Gulf Coast), Nicalai Eismann Nicalai Eismann 5'6" | OH/DS/L Wisconsin Lutheran | 2027 State WI (St Thomas), and Addy Abramowski Addy Abramowski 5'6" | DS/L Wisconsin Lutheran | 2028 State WI (Illinois State).  Another athlete who has been stepping up big in the scoring department has been Emily Becker Emily Becker 5'8" | OH Wisconsin Lutheran | 2027 State WI .  The senior has collected 61 kills, good for two per set.  She can be a key piece to providing a third scoring option which will be key in big matches down the stretch.

Emily Becker Emily Becker 5'8" | OH Wisconsin Lutheran | 2027 State WI will be a point scorer to keep tabs on in the 17 Liberty Division at the Northern Lights Qualifier.  She is a 2027 outside hitter who preps at Wisconsin Lutheran out of Milwaukee, playing for MKE Sting 17 White. There is a high IQ to Becker’s game.  She knows when to go line, cross, and when to take some pace off the ball to find the open spot on the court.  She was a key player for Wisconsin Lutheran this past high school season where she can carry that momentum into 2026.

Becker is an explosive pin that gives her opponents a LOT of trouble. She uses her athleticism to her advantage while blocking and taking swings from anywhere on the court. Becker was really impressive this weekend, and she is definitely one to keep your eye on this fall.

Emily’s ball control is impressive. She is a pin that adjusts the speed of her swing constantly and is always placing the ball well. She is very crafty and smart and knows when to take rips on the ball and when to place it in a good spot.

Emily really impressed me with how she balanced ball control and power. She has a great hard cross-cut shot and earns points by swinging her hands. She can also consistently hit seams. Emily is a player who consistently can earn points from the pin and is a reliable offensive force.
