, a middle blocker, was a strong presence at the net with her big block and ability to take away space from opposing hitters. She did a great job reading the setter and closing the block, helping slow down attacks and create opportunities for her defense behind her. Blumers also had opportunities from the service line with a consistent float serve that kept opponents out of the system and put pressure on their serve receive.

Versatile players are the best and Blumers is one that any coach would want on their team. She has predominantly played middle for her high school team, but has transitioned to playing a 6 rotation outside spot for her club team. The result has been tremendous growth in all areas of her game, especially passing and serving. Blumbers well be one to watch this upcoming weekend so we can see her arsenal of skills on display.

Emily is a versatile player that can hit from the pins, dig out of the backrow but also move from side to side and play the middle position with ease. During school volleyball this past year, Blumers came up with some big blocks in key moments to aid her team in their impressive 24-5 record. In addition to being a big block, Emily has multiple shots making her an important offensive threat out of the middle as well.
