Emma Dimascio Emma Dimascio S Lake Oconee Academy | 2027 GA is probably the most unusual name near the top of a kills leaderboard because she is also Lake Oconee’s setter. Emma has 90 kills at 2.0 per set, but she has continued organizing the offense at the same time. She had 13 assists in the Upson-Lee win and later served 13 aces in a sweep of Richmond County Technical Career Magnet. MaxPreps.com

That makes Emma a difficult second contact to ignore. If the defense treats her strictly like a distributor, she can score. If it becomes too concerned with her, Lake Oconee has four other attackers sitting immediately behind her on the classification kill leaderboard. I like setters who make the defense account for them rather than simply standing under the ball and showing everyone where the set is going. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
