A 2025 prospect who has played all over the court in school ball and club, Sandberg is in the groove at the Libero spot for Gonzaga Prep. The Bullpups have started the season strong, and the versatile Sandberg totaled 30 digs in wins over Mt. Spokane and Ridgeline in week 1. Her experience as a pin attacker and setter give her an edge when she is reading opposing offenses from the back row.

Sandberg has been on the floor either as an outside, right-side, or setter all season for CPA. She had a tremendous school season as the starting libero for Gonzaga Prep, and her reactions and hustle set the tone for CPA Drew’s overall team effort. Sandberg can flick up a dig with one hand, get down on the floor to save a tip, or take a smash down the line off her body and keep on playing. She has a positive and relentless attitude, and will make the big play as an attacker when the team needs it.

The Gonzaga Prep standout may still see time at both pins in her career, but she settled in very well as a libero during the fall high school season. Sandberg is tough and strong, she can stand in and dig out hard shots and is athletic and long enough to reach the tips and roll shots. She has a great, upbeat attitude, something that’s always excellent to see from your libero.
