About Erin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a well-rounded athlete who brings energy, consistency, and effort to every part of the game. I take pride in always giving my best on every point, whether it’s a big moment or a routine play. I’m constantly looking for ways to help my teammates succeed, whether that means offering encouragement, communicating on the court, or stepping up when the team needs it as a natural leader.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m able to shake off mistakes quickly and stay focused on the next point, which helps me stay confident and consistent throughout a match. Instead of dwelling on errors, I use them as motivation to respond stronger and keep pushing forward. As a natural leader on the court, I’m always working to keep my teammates’ energy high through positive communication, encouragement, and steady body language

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have earned Honor Roll recognition in all six quarters of high school, which reflects my strong work ethic, consistency, and commitment to academics. In addition to my coursework, I am involved in a school prayer group, where I value community, leadership, and supporting others. Being part of this group has helped me grow personally while reinforcing the importance of balance and discipline.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership through playing volleyball, where teamwork, communication, and supporting teammates are essential. Additionally, completing 25 hours of required community service each year has strengthened my sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My mom’s experience with breast cancer has had a strong impact on me and helped shape who I am. Watching her strength and resilience taught me perseverance, empathy, and the importance of staying positive through challenges. It has motivated me to work hard, support others, and approach both academics and athletics with gratitude and determination.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers a strong athletic program where I can continue to grow as a player, but that also has excellent academics to support my long-term goals. I want a school where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the court, while being part of a community that values both academic success and athletic development.
