Evie Leipper gets genuinely excited when her teammates succeed, and that focus and positivity are exactly what she wants a college coach to notice first when they watch her play. A coach taught her a small physical reset, something as simple as a clap or a deep breath, and she’s found that this tiny action helps her move on quickly and prepare fully for the next ball. Leipper is looking forward to playing with older, more experienced teammates at San Marcos. What drives her is the high standard she holds herself to, one she knows she’ll be pushed to meet at a higher level of competition. As a freshman on varsity, she’s aiming for a Division I program in a strong academic location to take notice of her.
